Floral and cirus aromas intertwine with summer fruits such as raspberry, strawberry and peach.  The flavor profile shows tart red fruit, including raspberry and cherry; mingling with a nuance of red plum and rose hips.  This refreshing rosato wine has an abundance of fruit supported by quenching acidity and a slightly rounded mid-palate.  Off-dry and light-bodied it should be served chilled and may accompany a variety of lighter fare.

2005 Bricco Sangiovese Buy

Intense aromas of black cherries, licorice and orange peel dominate the aromatic bouquet of this wine.  The palate is loaded with ripe, juicy black cherries, cinnamon and leather.  the deeply ripe flavors are both concentrated and dense, and are supported by fine tannins with a slightly softer acidity than is typical of the renowned Sangiovese from Italy.  This balanced and richly textured wine will continue to improve for at least 5 to 7 years.

Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon 35%, Merlot 32%, Cabernet Franc 26%, Petit Verdot 7%

Both appellations are very distinct but equally complimentary: Red Mountain produces big wines which are highly structured with firm tannins whereas Del Rio Vineyard yields wines that are very fragrant, plush and softer in texture. By combining the two we have achieved a wine that is rich, vibrant, and uniquely Northwest. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and vanilla are complimented with notes of cocoa, brown sugar, and cigarbox.  Black cherry, boysenberry, and cassis flavors dominate the pallet accompanied by nuance of choke cherry and chicory root. This dark, inky wine exhibits a sweet entry, balanced by soft acids and supported by focused tannins, giving the impression of an intensely ripe wine with a lingering richness.

Varietal: 97% Sangiovese, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon 

Aromas of black plum, dried cherries give way to orange peel and cocoa. Blackberries and black-cherry dominate the entry, followed by notes of currant, roasted tomatoes and spice. The ripe and supple entry is offset with well-structured tannins on the finish, ultimately creating a blend that is characteristically food friendly. Overall the impression is that of a robust wine possessing ripe fruit, balanced acidity and soft, talc-like tannins.

Aromas of black cherry and smoke dominate the nose followed by generous notes of dill and a hint of slate rock. Intense flavors of black raspberry and ripe cherry are complemented with flavors of sweet barrel spice and cola. This rich, intense Pinot displays a silky-sweet entry with a rounded mid-palate and lengthy finish. The overall impression is that of a very rich, ripe wine framed with soft acids and subtle tannins.

A rich and powerful wine, this Syrah is lightly perfumed with a floral nuance of violets, and shows aromas of black-cherry, tobacco, leather, and black pepper.  The palate follows the nose with flavors of black-cherry, tobacco, and black pepper, followed with pleasant notes of huckleberry and chocolate. The mouth-feel is rich and well integrated with ripe lingering fruit flavors and velvety fine tannins.
