Drink

Floral and cirus aromas intertwine with summer fruits such as raspberry, strawberry and peach.  The flavor profile shows tart red fruit, including raspberry and cherry; mingling with a nuance of red plum and rose hips.  This refreshing rosato wine has an abundance of fruit supported by quenching acidity and a slightly rounded mid-palate.  Off-dry and light-bodied it should be served chilled and may accompany a variety of lighter fare.

Primitivo was once thought of as the "Italian Zinfandel" due to their similar varietal character.  Massive, dark fruits of blueberry and blackberry dominate the aromatics of this wine, intertwined with hints of brown sugar and gamey meats.  A richly textured, supple entry of dark berry and soft tannin structure will allow for this wine to be paired with a variety of everyday meals including grilled burgers and sausages, barbecue, roasted veggies and hearty pasta dishes.

This wine displays aromas of black cherry, plum, cassis, tobacco, barrel char, and cedar with a slight floral nuance.  Velvety tannins are balanced with generous flavors of blackberry, chocolate, rum, cassis and sage.  The entry is rich and supple with the support of lingering, well-balanced tannins.  This wine will improve with cellaring and may be aged for 10 to 15 years.
